- Pointing Device Mouse or Track ball
- Memory 64MB or greater
- Screen Resolution 600 x 800

The HMIS II software was developed by Peter D. Scott for the Delivery of Improved Services for Health (DISH) Project and the Ministry of Health with funding from the United States Agency for International Development. The upgrade of the software has been undertaken under USAID Cooperative Agreement No. 617-A-00-00-00001-00. The software is available through the Ministry of Health free of charge and is suitable for use in Uganda at the district level.
